Steen Metz Speaks at the Deerfield Public Library

On Tuesday, September 29, 2026, the Deerfield Public Library welcomes Holocaust survivor, former Deerfield resident, and friend of the Spungen Foundation, Steen Metz, to share his story.

Steen was one of the few Danish Jews captured in 1943. He and his family were deported to Theresienstadt, where his father perished. Steen and his mother were later liberated from the camp by the Red Cross in 1945.

The event begins at 6:00 PM Central Time in rooms A/B/C at the Deerfield Public Library.

The event is currently full, but you can join the waitlist HERE.
