On Thursday, October 1, 2026, at the Newberry Library in Chicago, join Laurie Pasler (Courtroom 600 Project Director) and Daniel Greene (Adjunct Professor of History at Northwestern University) for a conversation about the legacy and lessons from the Nuremberg Trials. They will discuss the trials’ impact on postwar narratives and politics, how Nuremberg is and can be used in classrooms today, and the importance of primary sources, enhanced by a display of some of Laurie’s own primary documents, which her father kept hidden after his U.S. Army service.
You can learn more about Laurie Pasler and Courtroom 600 here, and more about Daniel Greene here.
The event begins at 6:00 PM Central Time in Ruggles Hall at the Newberry Library in Chicago.Â
This program is free to the public, but does require registration in advance. You can register for the event HERE.
