Letters from Anne and Martin Theatrical Play

The Spungen Foundation first got connected with the Anne Frank Center USA in June 2022 during the AHO Conference in Charlotte, North Carolina. We received a tour of the Anne Frank Center at the University of South Carolina and saw a performance of Letters from Anne and Martin, which is a theatrical reading of excerpts from Anne Frank’s Diary and Martin Luther King Jr.’s Letter from Birmingham Jail.

Since then, the Spungen Foundation has helped bring actors from the Anne Frank Center USA all over the country to perform Letters from Anne and Martin, including Illinois, Indiana (in association with CANDLES Holocaust Museum), and Montana.
